POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS (facial, microdermabrasion and/or dermaplaning).

After your appointment please follow these guidelines:

Do not wax, exfoliate, receive any skincare services or use any skincare devices for 48 hours.
No exercise, saunas, jacuzzis, use of warm or hot water for 24 hours after appointment- these provide means for infection.
Direct sunlight is to be completely avoided immediately following your treatment, and should be avoided as much as possible for 24-48 hours after your service. A wide brimmed hat and sunglasses must be worn if you have to be outside for longer than 3-5 minutes.
SPF of 30 or higher should be applied daily.
DO NOT apply any acids or corrective serums (example: retinol, vitamin c) for 48 hours after appointment.
No picking, pulling, rubbing or scratching at any time. This WILL cause damage, compromise results and potentially cause severe damage.

Post Care instructions (chemical peel as advised by Dermalogica)

Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks, and wear a wide brimmed hat if you must be outside (to prevent hyperpigmentation)
Avoid strenuous exercise on the day of treatment, along with prolonged exposure to heat sources like dry saunas or steam rooms; these activities increase blood circulation to the face, which can lead to discomfort, redness, swelling and other side effects.
On the night of/morning after treatment, use specific products suggested by aesthetician.
Peeling may look darker or being feeling tight and/peel on days 2-3 after peel. DO NOT PICK
Avoid exfoliating for at least 7 days unless otherwise advised by aesthetician.
Moisturize through out the day to maintain hydration and decrease the appearance of flaking.
